I joined RCT Liberal Democrats in 2019 and, in 2020, I became our Vice-Chair. Since then, I’ve been our Chairperson for two years and Treasurer twice.

Although I've now stepped back a little, to give myself extra time to indulge in my passions of reading, exploring our lovely countryside and, when the weather allows, abseiling, I continue to be an ardent LibDem supporter because, in my opinion, they are the only viable alternative to all other political parties - Liberal Democrats are the only party serious about changing the voting system, so that everybody's vote counts; forming much stronger links with Europe, to help rebuild our ties and boost our economy; and showing compassion towards all, whilst being realistic about funding.

So if, like me, you want to make a difference and are worried about the state of our politics today, then I really urge you to consider joining us.
